The ghosts of Emma's ancestors turn to her to help share their stories and solve their mysteries.
Emma discovered her gift at the age of 4, when a recently deceased relative visited with a message: "You have been chosen."
Her life since then has been a series of visitations, always from family members, with the express purpose of explaining the past so that the present family will understand and pass on the stories.
Along the way, Emma has endured ridicule and bullying. But she has also made enduring friendships and found love.
