You may be opening this eBook with two very common
questions: 1) what really is PEMF therapy? and 2) why don’t I hear
about it often? Both are very valid questions. Let’s begin with the
introduction to magnetic fields and PEMF therapy.
Magnetic and electromagnetic fields are part of our daily
lives. Cell phone towers and radio antennas near our homes emit
radiation as do our toasters, and microwaves via electricity. We are
even susceptible in our automobiles via our radios. Going to the
hospital for an X-ray or MRI means we are being exposed to parts of
the electromagnetic spectrum, which I’ll cover more in detail later
on. Even the Earth has its own magnetic field. What is important is
the frequency of the electromagnetic waves as they pass through
the air and … our bodies.
