Her Husband's Best Friend

Ana’s husband was in a bad crash and he was put into a coma that he wasn’t waking up from. His wife and son were in a bad place and his best friend and partner stepped in to help out. He was there every day to do the things that Nick wasn’t able to do.

Ana and Lance got close and the longer that Nick was in the hospital; the more unlikely it was that he would wake up at all. Something happens between the two in grief and it is only when the have went past the line of no return that Nick wakes up and he has a surprise for them both.
