After escaping the fate of being held captive by the deranged wife of the man she was having an affair with, Nia has a new outlook on life. With hers intact, she decides that married men are off limits. Well, that is until Divine pops up unexpectedly. For him, she’ll make an exception. Grant, who is single with no kids, seems like a better prospect though. However, she’s worried about her estranged sister, Brea and decides to put love on the back burner while focusing on her own personal issues. That may be easier said than done when she realizes that someone is stalking her.
Divine isn’t your typical savage. Trying to give the streets up and go legit for his son, DJ, he feels that being married to Monica is even more stressful than the dope game. She’s not exactly the idea wife and mother, so he does all that he can to give DJ the best childhood possible. As his feelings for Nia evolve, so does the drama and craziness surrounding him. Getting out of his marriage is not that simple and as time goes on, Monica makes it clear that she’ll never let him move on in peace. The question is, how far will she go to ensure that he doesn’t.
