About the blanket weight filling
We use super tiny glass beads as the weight filling, it is safe, nontoxic and odorless and no crunching sound when moves.

Generally, we suggest to choose the blanket weight based on 10% of body weight plus or minus 1 or 2 pounds, but you can choose heavier or lighter for your needs.

Cleaning Method
1.The weighted blankets (over 12 pounds) could be very weight when it is wet, so machine wash is not suggested, spot cleaning and dry cleaning is recommended.
2.Or you can buy a cover(54"x72") from local store for the blanket and wash that.
