Not only did we design and manufacturer this Patent Pending Product - We put it to the test. We placed Himalayan salt in several mills and with the lid closed on the top grounded enough salt to fill it to the top portion up to the lid. This also ensured that the grounded salt was also on and around the steel grinding mechanism. We then placed the mill in an unconditioned spaced that gets to be very hot at 95 degrees with at least 90% humidity. After two months of testing the lid of the mill was opened and the salt was still loose and fresh. The steel grinding mechanism had no signs of rust. The Himalayan salt that was left in the bottom glass body portion of the mill was not clumped at all. It was also still loose and fresh.

This was not good enough for us so we placed the same mills in Ziploc bags and left them outside in the summertime heat and weather climate changes with the same positive results. All that humidity and moisture did not clog up this grinder at all.
