करताली (Kartali): भजन पुस्तिका (Hindi Edition) / Krishna Gupta

This book is a collection of 9 Bhazans.They are sung in praise of Lord Ganesh, Krishna, Ram, and Shiva. Few Bhajans are about surrendering oneself to God.

Mrs. Krishna Gupta’s books are characterized by some usage of Hindi words which are slowly being forgotten now. These words give lots of meaning to our expressions. Today we hesitate to use Hindi as a means of expressing our views because we do not have the knowledge of these meaningful words, which were predominantly used in the past.

I am publishing her books for wider circulation as I would like my friends to read the book and see how many words are lost from our vocabulary over the period of time, and in this process start using some of these simple but beautiful words once again.   

This book is her fourth book in Hindi. “100 Years Ago” which was the first book we published. It was a novel based in the 20^th century. Then we published a collection of 9 short stories in her book “Bal Pothi”. The third book was a collection of poems Kacche Dhagon ki Hathkadi. These poems were written by her for her brothers on the occasion of Rakhi or Rakshabandhan.

This fourth book “Kartali” is a collection of 9 Bhajans.
