Life hasn’t always been easy for Ashley (AJ) Jackson growing up in Beallwood, a rough neighborhood in Columbus, Georgia but she happened to be one of the lucky ones that made it out. Now that she’s back home she’s ready to start giving back to her community and with the support of her best friend Jazmine she’s well on her way to making one of her dreams come true.
She is happy with her life and has everything going for herself, well almost everything. She doesn’t have much going on in her personal life but all that’s about to change when she meets Jay-T.
Jethro (Jay-T) Turner is one of the legendary Turner Boy’s known around the Columbus, Phenix City and surrounding areas. He is a walking wet dream and is quite the ladies’ man. Most people just see him as a street thug but he’s all about his business whether it be in the streets or one of his businesses and it’s best that you stay on his good side because he doesn’t believe in giving second chances.
AJ’s attracted to Jay-T and if she will admit it he’s even brought a little excitement into her rather boring personal life but she’s had her share of thugs and she wants no parts of Jay-T. To bad for her though because Jay-T is intrigued by AJ because not only did she not fall for lines like all the other women usually do but she really wasn’t studdin’ him and he sees that as a challenge.
