After being inflated for several hours and/or having been slept on, the air mattress may lose some of its initial firmness and feel softer because the PVC has naturally expanded. This expansion is normal and not the result of a leak. To regain your desired firmness level, add air to the mattress with the built-in pump.
2: PVC, because of long-term sealed packaging, it's normal that there would be some non-toxic and harmless smell when opened.Leave it out for the day before start using it, and the smell will disappear.
3: Like car tires, air mattress is an inflatable product and needs to be regularly inflated. If you're sleeping on an air mattress for more than one night, for your comfortable sleeping and better body support, we recommend topping it up with about 10 seconds of air.
4: It's best to place an air mattress on a soft surface, such as a carpet or rug. It can squeak on hard flooring when sleepers toss and turn during the night.
