A Painful Reminder: Sins of the Past

Melanie Jacobs, a young successful defense attorney, has accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. Graduating law school and starting her law firm was unheard of at her age. Coming off of a significant win for her firm, she does something she hasn't done in a while cook a relaxing dinner at home. Strolling the aisles in the grocery store, she sees him, Bryan McNeil.
Bryan McNeil is the cancer that keeps reappearing in Melanie life. A run-in with Bryan at the grocery store has brought back all the pain she thought she had gotten rid of. In high school, he took away her innocence and left her to believe it was her fault.
Now they're grown, and all he sees is this beautiful black woman that he has to have. He doesn't even recognize who she truly is, but Melanie will never be able to forget his face — seeing his face for the first time in years shock her to her core. Enraged with anger, Melanie wanted to make him pay and remember what he did to her. But Is she willing to go above and beyond to remind him who she is and what he did to her? When Melanie decides she was going to make, Bryan pay for what he did to her, but things took a turn that neither Melanie or Bryan expected.
