If I Choose You

Two years ago, Avery Dane (aka Lauren Helm) survived a violent four-day abduction. Barely. The world thinks she’s dead, and she chooses to leave it that way. Starting a whole new life is preferable to facing the public and pretending nothing’s changed.

Because it has changed. Drastically. Her world is a darker, scarier place. She avoids people and keeps her secrets at all costs. Even the love of her life, pro hockey player Noah Stevenson, believes she’s dead. It’s best that way, because she’s no longer the girl he fell in love with.
