From Doctor to Bride

Dr. Caroline Fleming had the world at her feet. A successful doctor in a rewarding practice working alongside Dr. Evans, a respected doctor, she had all that she had worked so hard to gain as a woman in the profession. And then she had stumbled upon the impropriety that had long been underway in her very surgery, and she was soon a fugitive on the run.

Richard Alexander was the only doctor for miles around in the burgeoning Oregon town. He needed help but the only respondent to his advert was a nurse and not a doctor as he had hoped to attract. Miss Caroline would just have to do. And she did. She proved herself more than capable, and Richard found himself attracted to the able medical professional for reasons beyond her work abilities.

The past would have to catch up with Caroline though, much as she hoped against all hope that she could live out her life practicing medicine and loving Richard out West. When one stands alone seemingly against the world, with all hope lost, it is then that one discovers the love that is all around. Would this prove to be Caroline's salvation in an unfair situation?
