Melanie and Image are back at Whitebrook after Brad Townsend's mysterious turn–around, abruptly letting her take the filly away from Townsend Acres. Even though Image is out of Brad's reach now, she still isn't really safe. Clouding her prospects is the fabled jinx––no horse that's won the Kentucky Cup Juvenile has ever won the Kentucky Derby.
