This fourth edition continues to teach theory of programming structure as well as COBOL (Common Business Orientated Language). It provides a guide to what structured programming is and how it is implemented in COBOL. Each chapter contains specific programming assignments and 11 complete sample programs are provided as well as structure charts. Two compilers support this text: RM/COBOL 85 and MicroFocus. New chapters on file processing, random file processing and interactive programming are also included in this edition.
