"Making the Connection"
The Third Canadian Edition will continue its tradition of engaging students in making connections between the forces shaping their lives and those shaping a larger community - a friendship, a college/university, a nation, or the globe. Pedagogy includes Applying Theory, Research in Action, and Sociology in the Global Community, all of which provide students a greater opportunity to draw comparisons between themselves and recent national and global developments.
