LSC (CALIF STATE U FULLERTON) : Inter. Algebra Minicourse

This is a minicourse designed for college students who have successfully completed three years of college preparatory math coursework (Algebra I and II and Geometry), but who are in need of some remediation. It has been used successfully within The California State University System with entering freshmen who have failed the System's Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) Test with a score that falls within the upper quartile of all students who failed the ELM. This is a consumable book in that students will write in the designated spaces and submit for grading. Instructor presentations are built right into the text. The only other material the student must purchase is an inexpensive scientific calculator.
