Human Biology

For nonscience students who have little or no background in the sciences. Takes a structure-and-function approach, emphasizing the normal operations of each organ system and the role of homeostasis. Special attention paid to selected diseases and disorders or each organ system, applying the concepts of normal human biology to help students understand what goes wrong.
