Women Worldwide: Transnational Feminist Perspectives on Women

This text with readings provides an accessible and engaging introduction to issues faced by women around the world. Each chapter begins with a framework essay written by a feminist scholar in the field, which provides an overview and analytical structure for the issues related to the topic at hand. The framework essay includes learning activities and other sidebars that may help instructors in planning class sessions and will encourage students to explore issues further. A number of carefully selected readings in each chapter offer a wide variety of perspectives on the topics discussed.
