Multimedia Encyclopedia of Mammalian Biology: CDROM: Single-User Version

This CD-Rom includes text, image, sound and full-screen, full-motion video sequences. Designed primarily for university and college libraries, the disk includes full text, colour photographs, artwork and maps from all five volumes of Grzimek's "Encyclopadia of Mammals". The encyclopaedia offers video and audio sequences of mammalian behaviour, largely taken from the BBC's Natural History Unit film library. The hardware, running under Microsoft Windows, allows browsing and searching, as well as hypermedia cross-referencing of text, image, video and so on.
