This Proceedings contains the papers presented at the IFAC Workshop on Future Trends in Automation in Mineral and Metal Processing held in Finland on 22 - 24 August, 2000.
The most recent developments in automation technology were presented and discussed at this Workshop. This Workshop consisted of 74 papers presented in 13 lecture-type sessions. In addition, the Workshop included lectures on automation by special guest speakers.
