Mathematical Methods for Physicists

This work is intended to provide the student with the mathematics needed for advanced and beginning study in physical science. It features class-tested exercises and has sections on non-Cartesian tensors, dispersion theory, first-order differential equations, numerical application of Chebyshev polynomials and the fast Fourier transform and transfer functions.
