Mineral Nutrition of Higher Plants

An understanding of the mineral nutrition of plants is of fundamental importance in both basic and applied botany. Impressive progress has recently been made towards a better understanding of the uptake and function of these nutrients in plants and the effects of fertilizer use in promoting crop yields. This text presents the principles of mineral nutrition in the light of these current advances.
