The Visual J++ Handbook

This handbook offers an introduction to Java using Microsoft Visual J++. It assumes no Java experience, but some programming experience. After a brief introduction to Java and the compiler, the book covers the language features, creating simple applets and using the Microsoft tools. The book includes a description of the programming environment, and covers areas such as adding colour, sound fonts, dialogue boxes, menus and animation.
