Food Rhymes (First Verses)

"First Verses" is a series of books of new and original poetry for young children, chosen by John Foster. The first four titles were very well received, and "Food Rhymes" is one of the second batch of four more "First Verses" titles. In "Food Rhymes" you will find food for breakfast, lunch and text, and food for in-between. But watch it when you have to be a washing-up machine. The book is illustrated in full color, and Carol Thompson's beautifully observed pictures create their own lively world, as well as giving help on how to 'play' some of the rhymes.
