Switching Circuits. Theory and Logic Design

This book presents the theory and logic design of combinational and sequential switching circuits and is intended to serve as a textbook in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science curricula. Since the synthesis of switching circuits is increasingly machine-aided, particular emphasis is placed on the algorithmic aspects of circuit design. Chapters on cellular arrays and shift register realization of sequential machines reflect the advent of integrated circuit technology. Finally, because circuit maintainability is of the utmost importance in the design process, an introductory chapter on fault detection and diagnosis is also included. A set of problems appears at the end of each chapter.
