Utilizing an interactive workbook format, students are introduced to a number of interesting topics, such as the value of a college education and changing immigration patterns in the United States. Each module asks students to think about how each of these problems affects them personally and impacts society. By answering these types of questions, students come to understand that social issues are not made up of abstract concepts.
