The Cloud of Dust

Lonely, a young man at Edinburgh University writes letters to his mother and to his close friend Paul. He describes the city, the people he sees living there, the books he has read and the richness of his solitary life. He meets a girl, Kate, and from that moment he is found and he is lost, bewildered and inspired. Intoxicated, agonized, his love for Kate becomes all consuming, obsessive.
