Great Debates in Law is an evolving series offering engaging and thoughtful introductions to the more advanced concepts, written by authors who are amongst the foremost thinkers in their field. Jonathan Morgan is Fellow and Director of Studies at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He previously held appointments in the Universities of Oxford and Warsaw. His teaching and research interests lie in the areas of private law (especially contract, tort and private law theory), human rights and legal history.
