Can Buildings Speak?. Louise and Richard Spilsbury (Start Up Art & Design)

Created to support the Schemes of Work at KS1, this new series shows young children undertaking real art and design projects to expand their skills and understanding of creative and practical processes. "Can Buildings Speak?" includes ideas for 'reading' clues about buildings, from features and design details, the study of texture and pattern, looking at local buildings, places of worship, amazing buildings (eg Gaudi), historical buildings and, finally, making a mural.
