Location Photography: Essential Skills

'Location Photography' provides essential skills for photographers using 35mm SLR and medium format cameras working with both ambient and introduced light.

Through a series of practical exercises the photographer is shown the techniques and design elements required to be able to communicate clearly and creatively. The basic essentials are described, from exposure, to framing the image and how to work with light and contrast.



Assignments are provided for genres such as landscape, environmental portraiture, the photographic essay and advertising.
