Flores para Lucía, la Murciélaga: Flowers for Lucia, the Bat

BCI's fourth Spanish-English children's book introduces Lucia, a young nectar bat who learns she can make a difference in the world just by being herself. Author Laura Navarro chronicles the migration of nectar bats which, as pollinators of agave plants and cactus such as organ pipe and saguaros, ensure the continuity of desert life.
