Sensory Mechanisms of the Spinal Cord: Volume 1 Primary Afferent Neurons and the Spinal Dorsal Horn

This text provides an historical and contemporary overview of an active field of neuroscience research on somato-visceral sensation. Medical (and indirectly veterinary) implications are emphasized. Extensive revisions have been made since the last edition, including the addition of two chapters. Many significant literature citations have been added for the period since the last edition. The illustrations have been substantially expanded, including a number that emphasize newly applied techniques.
