This interactive CD-ROM presents a comprehensive review of EMT-Basic knowledge and skills, and prepares users to take or retake the certification exam. The CD-ROM can be used in both a tutorial mode and a test mode, for both content review and test preparation. The tutorial mode allows users to take practice multiple-choice exams, watch multimedia clips of skills being performed, hear breathing sounds, view illustrations, or review content from the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) EMT-Basic Curriculum. Questions answered in tutorial mode are instantly graded and presented with informative feedback. The test mode offers practice exams designed to simulate the actual certification exam, with a final score given at the end of the exam. Users can customize the exams in test mode to suit their review needs by selecting the number of questions they want the practice exam to include.

Approximately 1,100 multiple-choice Review Questions with answers and rationales offer excellent practice for the written portion of the EMT-B certification or recertification exam.
