An Elusive Desire

When Jaime Forster was still an inexperienced teenager she had become passionately involved with Rafaello di Vaggio; but had nothing come out of it. Jaime had had strong feelings about the way she wanted her life to go, and at that time it had not included marriage. So, in due course, Rafaello had married her friend Nicola and their ways had parted. Now, however, Nicola was pleading with Jaime to visit her in Italy, to help sort out her problems. In deciding to go, was Jaime being incredibly generous, or incredibly foolish?
