Thesaurus of Agricultural Organisms

This two-volume publication covers both plant and animal species, but focuses on pest, weed and disease organisms of importance to the field of agriculture. Pests can be identified either by the full Latin name or a preferred name or synonym. The thesaurus provides a cross-referenced source of Latin names, synonyms and common names in English, French and German for approximately 30,000 organisms. An inverted binominal index enables the location of the correct entry, starting from the Linnaean specific name.
