The Ecology of the School (Contemporary sociology of the school)

At a time when the ecological environment has become recognized as one of the key determinants of human behaviour, this book shows how schools and classrooms are influenced, and suggests that an ecological engineering approach can help them to exist in greater harmony with their communities and location and even, in appropriate circumstances, to seek to modify their environment.
