Optimization Methods for Material Design of Cement-based Composites (Modern Concrete Technology)

An overview of optimization methods applied to cement based materials written by members of the leading research team based at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research in Warsaw. The book explains the basis of optimization methods, and then presents approaches that can be used for mix design of concrete, optimization of ordinary and special concretes (fibre reinforced concretes, polymer cement concretes, water permeable concretes). Design and optimization of large sets of experimental data is also discussed.
