Rough or Smooth (Little Nippers: Is It...?)

This title shows what characteristics make an item rough or smooth by sending children on a treasure hunt to find a range of familiar materials and explore their properties. The series provides an excellent opportunity for discussing materials and their properties, and investigating texture, shape and form.
