Servicing TV and Video Equipment

This text aims to provide a practical book on servicing domestic electronic products. The emphasis is on modern set design, although the author recognizes that the majority of equipment arriving at the repair bench is older. A place has been found, therefore, for thyristor-operator television designs, for top-loading VCRs and for multi-chip colour decoders amongst the cut-dried-and-sealed microchip technology of today's products. The author has also written the "Newnes Guide to TV and Video Technology" and "TV and Video Engineers Pocket Book".
