Design for Human Scale

Design for a Human Scale (c) 1983 is a follow up to Victor Papanek's earlier book, "Design for the Real World." He explains it's purpose early on in the book this way: "The point of 'Design for the Real World ' can be summed up as: What to design and why. 'Design for Human Scale' carries this question to its next logical step. After deciding on _what_ and _why_, the next question in _how_? That is the central question here. How can people be built into the design process? How can designs and people be brought together?"
