This CD-ROM contains the text of all papers presented during the 12th International Drying Symposium (IDS2000), held from 28-31 August 2000 in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands. IDS2000 also includes the mini-symposium Advances in Paper Dewatering (AIPD2000). This searchable CD-ROM contains the text of all presented papers in PDF format, which can be browsed, viewed and printed with Acrobat Reader 4 software which is available for free. Also background information of the symposium, as published on the website http://www.ids2000.tue.nl, is given.
The bi-annual International Drying Symposia (IDS) provide a worldwide platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise on science and technology concerning all aspects of solids drying. The information on the CD-ROM is organised in such a way that the user-friendly interface allows easy access to the more detailed information without losing the necessary overview.
