This collection of workshop proceedings evaluates experience with childhood bone diseases from multidisciplinary points of view. Emphasis is placed on the development of the skeletal system in childhood. Results and methods of molecular biology and new genes in skeletal diseases such as chondrodysplasias, disorders of calcium and phosphate metabolism and osteoporosis are presented.
