Story Of Poppyseed

In a tidy cottage on Poppyseed Hills lives a lonely woman named Miss Kessy. In the river below lurks a tail-thrashing monster who frightens all visitors away from her door. When a band of lost, hungry children find its way onto Poppyseed Hill, Miss Kessy welcomes the children into her life. The leader of the troupe is a vivacious, dark-eyed child whom Miss Kessy lovingly names Poppyseed. Poppyseed has a magical way of changing the lives of those around her- even the lives of monsters determined to be fierce. Her good will is contagious. Her smile is irresistible.
