Linear Control Systems: Modeling, Analysis, and Design

An integrated treatment of linear control system modeling, analysis and design, geared for advanced undergraduates in electrical engineering. The book examines both component and system models; time response, root locus and frequency response methods using Bode diagrams and the Nyquist criterion; and classical design by series compensation and state variable design using introductory concepts from optimal control theory. Over 200 problems are contained in the book with detailed worked-out examples, and numerous photographs. A WIE version of this book is planned for simultaneous publication.
