Working from an integrated case study of a municipal solid waste management problem, it clearly demonstrates the validity of using systems analysis and modeling to successfully provide solutions. The computer programs include focus on model formulation, planning and design issues. Traditional systems analysis and modeling topics are also covered and graphics, charts and diagrams aid in comprehension.
