Symphony No. 104 (Dover Miniature Music Scores)

Now that Dover Publications has leapt into the field of pocket-sized musical scores, music students and anyone else with an interest in knowing how great works are put together have access to a highly affordable new tool. These full orchestral scores are obviously unsuitable for playing purposes, but ideally designed for reading along with during a concert or while listening to a recording. Like all Dover scores, this one is a reprint of an earlier, now out-of-copyright imprint.

Haydn's "Symphony No. 104 in D Major" is the 12th and last of his "London" symphonies, written on commission from a presenter in the British capital between 1791 and 1795. This is one of his most popular works, and rightly so, for it is immediately accessible and elegantly framed.
