Reviews and Perspectives in Physiology 2001

This volume brings together the Perspectives and Topical Reviews published during 2000 in The Journal of Physiology, with the intention of making their content as accessible as possible to both students and researchers in physiology. The Journal of Physiology publishes original research papers that illustrate new physiological principles and mechanisms, with an emphasis on human and mammalian physiology. It is among the most rapidly published journals in its field, and has one of the highest citation indexes in physiology.
