White Lies, Black Blood II: Unveiling lies, is a continuation of the story of young protagonist Angelica Grey who struggles, yet finds herself locked in a complicated world of race and dissection. Dating a rich white male named Judas; her life seems set for her but in spite of this, she has a mysterious yearning in her heart. She returns from a glorious trip in Jamaica where she was exposed to a society where the workings of racism was not institutionalized and where people's lives were not predominantly directed and affected by race. It was hard battling lies, prejudice, fear, hate, and to further complicate matters, she met and fell in love with a handsome man with the only problem being that he was Black. With her mindset, how could this have happened? How was she going to introduce him into her White world knowing that he would be totally and utterly rejected if not marked for death? Her dilemma then revolved around following her heart to what could be true happiness or keeping her family happy by denying her emotions and subjecting herself to agonizing mental turmoil.
