Description ▲
This is the second volume of the Daylighting Handbook series. Same as for the first handbook, eight chapters are divided into two parts, Daylight Simulations and Dynamic Facades. Chapters 9 to 12 discuss how to predict the overall amount of daylight in and around buildings at any given site using manual methods and computer simulations. Chapters 13 to 16 present an integrated design analysis framework to evaluate facades with dynamic shading and lighting systems that negotiate between occupant comfort and energy efficiency.
