Threaded Fasteners: BSI Handbook 44

This book includes extracts and a precise of all the standards relevant to engineering design and production of threaded fasteners. For historical accuracy, it reproduces technical content from standards exactly as they were originally printed. Explanatory commentary has been added where the text of the book differs from the original standard. It has been updated to include all revised standards, and any new standards in the area. Extracts from those standards that have been withdrawn or made obsolescent are included, with notes, for user reference. This edition includes a fuller introduction and explanation of the book's uses. The handbook concentrates on the properties and uses of the screws, rather than how to make them.
